含义：这是某人第几次做某事。

6. It is/ was not until...that

含义：直到……才……

Eg. It was not until his wife came back that he went to bed.(强调句)

直到他的妻子回来他才上床睡觉。

7. It (suddenly) occurred to sb. that...

含义：某人突然想起……

Eg. It suddenly occurred to Tom that he did not finish the homework.

汤姆突然想起来他没有完成家庭作业。

8. It is no use/ no good doing sth.

含义：做某事没有用/没有好处。

Eg. It is no use/ no good staying up.

熬夜没有用/ 没有好处。

9. There is no doubt that...

含义：毫无疑问……

Eg. There is no doubt that doing exercise is beneficial to our health.

毫无疑问锻炼对我们的健康有好处。

10. The reason (why...) is that...

含义：(……)的原因是……

Eg. The reason (why Tom did not finish his homework) is that he forgot this issue

(汤姆没有完成作业的)原因是他忘记了这件事。
